DynCorp International Names Daniel Clifford as Chief Information Officer

FALLS CHURCH, Va. – August 3, 2009 – DynCorp International has appointed Daniel Clifford as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Vice President of Information Technology. 

Mr. Clifford joins DynCorp International from Young America Corporation, the largest information processor of rebates for Fortune 1000 companies, where he led strategic planning and application development, as well as IT infrastructure planning and deployment. Prior to that position, he was vice president of information technology for Alliant Techsystems, Inc.

He was with Northwest Airlines for 15 years, as director of information systems applications and director of enterprise systems asset management. Earlier in his career, he worked on application development for Boeing Computer Services. He has a B.S. in computer science with a minor in mathematics from Minnesota State University in Moorhead, Minnesota.
