DynCorp International Wins NAS Norfolk Task Order
FALLS
CHURCH, Va.—November 20, 2008—DynCorp International has been awarded a
task order under its Contract Field Teams (CFT) contract to provide
aviation services at Naval Station Norfolk (Va.). The firm-fixed-price
contract is for one base year and one option year, and has a two-year
value of more than $10.6 million.
Under the task order, DynCorp
International will be responsible for the launch and recovery of
aircraft, aircraft inspections, aircraft movement, corrosion control,
and tool issue and receipt, including hazardous materials. The company
will carry out sea- and shore-based deployments from Norfolk in support
of VAW-120 Squadron’s E2-C and C-2 aircraft and will service SH-60
aircraft for HSC-2 Squadron.
