DynCorp International Wins $40 Million Construction Project in Afghanistan
FALLS
CHURCH, Va. – August 11, 2008 – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has
awarded DynCorp International a $40 million construction project in
Jalalabad, Afghanistan.
The company's Logistics and
Construction Management Division will provide the design, site
adaptation, and construction of new garrison facilities for use by the
Afghanistan National Army. The project will include a helipad, motor
pool, fire station, medical clinic, headquarters, barracks, underground
facilities, and force protection infrastructure.
This endeavor
is an expansion of a Jalalabad Garrison project awarded to DynCorp
International in December 2007. It is currently under way.
